Day 3 and 4...
Well, today I went to Uni around 12. Saw someone from Taylors who I kinda knew but never really talked to and we sat and talk. Guess who? We went for like 2 lectures they were giving and from there we ended up spending the rest of the day keeping each other company.
Turns out he's a really nice guy. Even gave me 2 of his new badges which he didn't need to.
I borrowed 2 Dvd's from the Rowdie. 'Once' is quite nice. It's got songs and an interesting plot to boot. I suggest subtitles to help you though as the irish accent can be a bit confusing;P. Tapir, you should watch it. I think you'd like it:).
That's all for now...Ooh, yeah, I joined one society at least. The film society, huzzah!

O-week- Day 2
Saw Molly from my host group again, yay. Then I was left wandering. I guess I'll always be the super shy girl who just keeps herself hidden away. That part will always be me.
I grabbed a free veggie burger and drink from the M-ASS Barbie. You say it like this...Mmmm-Ass. Pretty nice of em to give us food FOC.
Chilled at the Rowdie and read Rolling Stone Mag. Def plan 2 make full use of my student union membership:).
Made new friends at the Lit session. Got my 2 important readers. Had a kebab. 2 Malaysian Professors talked to me.
And now here I be...On to day 3 tomorrow!

Orientation- day 1
Orientation was alright. Didn't really mix as I thought I would. I don't know why. I was the only malaysian/asian in my host group, lol. Meg was so nice. She even baked us cookies:). Choc chip to boot, haha.
Well, at least now I basically know where my classes are. It won't be such a difficult thing trying to navigate my way around, heehee.
The musical wicked is coming here...I really wanna watch it. Especially after seeing it on 'Ugly Betty'.
Kinda tired now, so I'll be off take care;).

In Melbourne...
Just went through one of subject layout. Its cinema studies. Sounds interesting no? Though it now looks like a whole lotta work. Hope I'll be able to keep up with everything.
So far, everything is a ok. I like the fact that there are so many parks here. The fresh airs good too.
My apartment is pretty small but alright for just someone like me. Woken up this morning by the sunshine. Man, it was a bright sunnny but still windy day. I have a kinda sunroof thing going on. It's quite charming and oh, a white picket fence too:).
Malaysian food is pretty easy to find...halal food is an entirely diff category to some others though.
Gonna clean up now, so gotta go and lots to do tomorrow. Miss you guys and love you loads;).

Running outta time...
Well, it is nothing compared to what Nami's been through.
Every adventure has to be undertaken alone no? Plus how am I gonna be someone beter if I never leave you people and keep clinging on to others?
Had a fab time in the afternoon lunch with the old school pals I hold so dear, mwaxz!
Didn't feel so great around the evening though. Perhaps the escargot didn't settle with me.
Gotta go. Visitors before I go off.
Oh, no longer a hobo, whee! and I am now wearing retainers again, grrr! Hello Ugly Betty?

Tada!
I had the sweetest romantic dream yesterday. This is a warning for you who don't wanna read this;P.
I was at this party or something and then this guy asks me to dance. I won't elabarote on the guy since most of you would probrably figure out for yourself what type he is, lol. I say yes and it seems like I know him from somewhere cos we're like old friends.
It starts out with the boh of us just holding hands and swaying to whatever music that is playing since the scene was very silent movie-esque. As the night goes on, we slowly become something more intimate. We progress to my arms around his neck, his hands on my waist but still at a safe distance. I see myself smiling and blushing in the dim light. Finally, we slowly dance out of the hall and through the doors into the moonlight. Now however there's no distance between us and his arms pull me in tighter and I wrap mine around his neck and lay my head on his shoulder, so close that I could smell his cologne and a little smile makes it way on my lips. We are silent but we move slowly together in an endless waltz. In the end, we...well, if you wanna know ask me;P.
I wonder if this is a good sign? Well, guess I'll just wait and see and maybe write a romance novel in between, lol.
May as well put my latest poem up. Enjoy:).
Bad Habit
You're like a bad habit,
Got me so addicted,
Picked up a bit too early,
Too much of you,
Now everything is blurry.
You're like a bad habit,
I'm so shook up,
Can't get enough,
Want to say it's your fault,
But you'd call my bluff.
You're like a bad habit,
The kind mom warned about,
"Stay away before it's too late",
Patches won't work anymore,
It's all up to fate.
You're like a bad habit,
As deadly as smoking,
As bad as esctasy,
But if I don't get a dose of you,
I'll no longer be me.

Happy V-day...or Anti V-day?
Woke up surprisingly early this morning around 8? Picked Nami up around 10.30 or so and went of to Midvalley. After what seemed like eternity of deciding what to do, the gals who were present, Tapir, nami, moi and Wei Li, we ended up getting the tix 1st...for the movie 'Jumper'.
Went to MPH and met Geoffrey there. Felt like eating lunch. So after my Horrible suggestion decided on Chilli's. HUGE PORTIONS as usual, probrably should've warned everyone 1st...hmmm...oh well. Xing and Conrad joined us for the feast but couldn't finish their food, like the rest of us;P.
Then, we walked around gardens to kill time...and our full stomachs. 2 birds with 1 stone. To kill boredom, we ended up at the arcade. I tried the racing. I suck at it. Same as my driving skills;P.
Eventually we ended up at 'Jumper'. The movie was not bad but it wasn't as awesome as I though it would be either. I now have a new celeb crush, Jamie Bell, sigh.
Finally, we had tea at secret recipe and went around a bit more before heading off. Though, me and the girls spent some more time purchasing sweet stuff:).
Not bad for a singles outing huh?

The gang at S.R. Nami's head was blocked.

Random shot, hehe.

CNY at D's...
Went to Derrick's house for CNY with my beloved Tapir, heehee.
Ppl we met: Geoffrey, Jie, Des, Derrick, Chow, Louis, Jack, Xing and Conrad.
Just hung around his house for awhile before going to Mamak. My 1st late night mamak haunt, haha. I shouldn't have had too much sugar though...I couldn't sleep when I got back.
All is not lost though and I ended up with my new poem, heehee.
Geoffrey and Tapir.
Mamak-ing, hurm?
Shisha anyone?
From the eyes of a drunkard.
Me and Pay Ru, lol.

And they say money doesn't grow on trees;p?
So khusyuk man.
Before they got trumped...
The ladies of the day...
Is that a monkey or a really hairy little man?
1 red, 1 gold.
All smiles baby;).

Chinese New Year at Tapir's Place
CNY was lotsa fun to say the least. Saw the usual gang again. Haha, guys being trumped by a little girl;P. Football fever, as usual too. Liverpool didn't lose, so that's good right? Lol. Must see everyone before I leave.
Derrick's CNY Open House next, whee!
I'm leaving next Tuesday...and I still haven't cleared anything up...damn!
P.S.I changed the skin cos the previous one, as pretty as it was didn't suit me, hehe.

Family first, eh?
So, what did I do today? Nothing much. Just went out to Uncle Ooi's house to visit him. He's an old family friend who used to work with my grandpa. Poor grandpa is sick today unfortunately. What luck huh?
My mom has been getting every number in Melbourne available of people that she knows.
Eldest+Girl=Worried Mom.
I just came back from Yana's doa selamat awhile ago. She's leaving on the 24th. Damn, I'm leaving earlier and haven't even started anything. I saw Ezrin there Nami:). We hang out together soon ok? She's up for it too, hehe.
Toodloo for now;).

Friends...
Still, it was nice just chilling and catching up with them. Haha, hard to believe that its been like 10 years or so. Slumber parties, silly games like trying to recreate legends of the hidden temple, dancing on the carpet accompanied by the piano.
I've had some pretty amazing friends in my life. All of them will always have a special place in my heart and soul, very cliched but true none the less. You can always earn money, become famous somehow or learn something new, everything has it's own meaning...but true friends that will stick by you through many years and different problems...they're hard to find and I feel so blessed. To have known you. You know who you are. Even if you don't think so, just call and we'll talk, yeah?
I wonder if I'll meet any people as special as the ones I already know. Special to me I mean. Friends...I'll need some when I'm there. Well, I could always start by taking the first step right?Mwaxz!

Something like love...
Tears like glass,
Fragile and crystal clear,
I cry them out when you go,
Taken by the fear.
Smiles like bubbles,
One after another they shine,
Rainbow colors adorning them,
Now everything is just fine.
Blood like the river,
Hot and passionate,
Romantic proses spilling out,
Every time we get too intimate.
Hearts like chocolate,
Both bitter and sweet,
Lovely and poisonous too,
Still always a delightful treat.

Eza and Kak Oya
~Eza~
What can I say about Eza? She's my cousin, durh. Our grandparents are siblings but we've always been really close:). I remember at Birthday Parties, family ones anyway. We would always do a little dance routine. Along with Yana. Haha, the days of Backstreet Boys huh? Though she's actually one year younger, she's darn mature. Eza, please do not mention that we used to bath together when we were like 2;P. Darn, well, at least no one knows about the *ehem*. I'm gonna miss you loads dear. If you're free, come and visit me la, hehe. We shall go shopping! All the best in your future undertakings and do keep blogging so I can keep up on the haps in KL;).
~Kak Oya~
Kak Oya! Haha, in truth she's my aunt, in my mind, she'll always be my cousin. Probrably cos she's so fun and nice and the difference in age wasn't really a big deal. When she was still at KB, the fam would usually stay over at her place and we would makan till our hearts content. White house especially. She's my theater buddy as well. I still remember watching H&H at BSC. Now, kak oya is a teacher. Well, for awhile anyway. Patience is key kan? Especially when you're teaching 13-14 year olds. Good luck with finishing up your studies Kak Oya!
P.s. I just realised I don't have the latest pictures. Send me some yeah Eza?;).

It is confirmed...
~What's going on in my head~
Why the heck do we need an onion that doesn't make us cry? A bit of tears is pretty darn good once in awhile. We've actually got scientists working on this when they could be working on something more productive like how to reduce the effects of global warming?!!WHAT THE BLOODY HELL??
~Other things going around in my head~
I wonder if I could email Adam Levine and politely persuade him to give me tickets to their Melbourne concert. I've got both their albums damn it! And it's not even the cetak rompak version.
Oh yeah, Valentines day is coming up soon...pffft, overpriced chocolates and dozens of rose bouquets that girls are gonna be carrying around while with their boyfriends...when they're sitting around watching a movie or having a candle light dinner under the stars and moon with the music of Patrizio Buanne in the background...*stares off into space in a romantic daze*...*grabs a tissue and snaps out quickly*...Like I said, Pffft!
I guess that's enough ranting for today. *Grabs a tissue*
BTW, Damansara residents be wary of mosquitoes. 2 people down with Denggi already.

What I've been up to...
~Wednesday~
Myra and moi went out for dinner at R Hotel to use up one of her vouchers. Food can def bring people together, lol. It was nice though. Catching up and finding things can be just liked that used to:).
~Thursday aka yesterday~
Tapir called and asked a few others out for a day out at MVM. Picked Nami up and we went to makan 1st while waiting for the rest;P. Then we met Tapir where she had her fire breathing Laksa(I shall bring the fire extinguisher next time, heehee). Then came the guys and after the girls took charge we decided to watch Meet The Spartans. Stupid movie is all I can say. Had the yummiest creme caramel after that:D. Jerry surprisingly said yes to giving us(Nami and me) a ride back after Tapir went off. Of course, we had to ask very sweetly*bats eyelashes*. Heck, I should start driving more...when I feel like it;P.
~Today~
Went back Kampung. Mom was in massive distress over College's lack of assertiveness to notify me that I was 'rejected'. It is decided then I shall live as a hobo!
