Bad judgement = fun time
Lecture at 10. 1 hour break. Lecture. Tute. Break. Tute. So I had the honour of going for my CMEL tute first. Bunch of really cool people and Jim, the tutor seems like a fun guy. Diana has the exact same phone as mine and we bonded over it, haha. Just wish I could remember people's names better, grrr. It's always hard at first, sigh. I'm liking the peeps in the lit tute and the tutor as well, David is a more step back and let the students take the lead tutor, presentation type but I don't mind, all for it:)! Lotsa ppl that I usually see around in my tute, so good chance to make friends.
When I got back, I was so exhausted that I just crashed on my bed, badoomp!
Started Joyce's Dubliners. It's an interesting read, especially since the 1st story was about a Catholic Priest.
Toodles!

Uni life once again...
Went for lunch with Nat after that. Pretty good catching up. I wanna go to the Bon Odori Festival in Selangor next year! Lol. Then came back to my place and chilled before going for my last lecture.
CMEL...I wonder why they even do it twice in one day...how much can we actually take in, seriously? Made a new friend(hopefully), Brianne, who's on a student exhange programme from U.S., very nice and cool girl:). Only CMEL with her though.
Then in the evening, Derrick came over to 'lepak' and bully me once again. Why me? Lol. Then Chongy came for a bit before we went out to Lygon for dinner. Hung around and took silly pics, lol. Then met Aimi, who's taking the same course as D. After dinner, we went to Aimi's place to watch 'Project Runway'(Aus version)...There's a freaking Malaysian dude in there, haha. Go Malaysia! Lol. Chongy has just realised that Malaysians are everywhere, lol.
Today went to the lit lecture at 11. Sat beside a girl named Camille, another hopeful friend:). I don't feel so bad for not getting my books yet, hehe. Interesting books for Modern and Contemporary Lit, 2 of which I've already kinda studied, but the rest all totally new. Authors include Woolf, Rhys and Kafka among many others. Gonna go meet Anderson later and have dinner and movie with D and the gang. Must go buy groceries now as my dinky lil fridge is very bare;P. Ta!

Back at my second home...
So my last day back in K.L was actually more last minute packing and family kodak moments at Elya and Kyle's Birthday shindig. Everyone says I've gotten skinnier...when in fact I usually eat like crazy;P, just ask any of my loverlies, haha. Rushed to the airport, Azalea was ultra sombong with me, hmpph, suit her. So then it was time for mom and dad to leave me to myself. Lucky me, managed to get the lounge, hehe. I was kinda distracted when they called for some guy called...Van Death...might just be me but hey, makes for a cool character name no? Dimitri Van Death...
Anyways, flight back was alright, slept for most of it. Took the taxi back home and lugged my very heavy luggage up the freaking stairs...29 KGS! That's like another human being!Thank goodness no one was shooting an embarassing vid or anything, lol;P.
Had an early dinner with Aishah and Tzup at C.C. Then since it was raining, we got hot drinks, haha. Hope your taste buds return soon babe;).
Took awhile for me to unpack and clean, sigh. Still haven't prepared myself for Uni as well, lol. Cheers guys and gals:).

Wii-lly?
So today I went to get my 2nd round of the cervical cancer injection thing. Turns out my appointment was scheduled for Wednesday, during the little Sunway Escapade;P. Wonder how that could've slipped my mind, lol. So I had to wait for a bit but finally managed to get it over and done with in time for lunch. Funny bit was when a nurse brought a teen kid and his mom to the Dr. and apparently she got it mixed up with the Dr. of the same name...What was so funny? The nurse brought him to a fertility expert/obsetriction, haha! Then Grandma from Kampung came for lunch. Dad came back went to Cheras to get a...Wii Fit! It is awesome. I am unbalanced though and got the shock of my life when my initial wii fit age was 35;P. Managed to reduce it to 16, haha. Met up with Ru, Adrian and Dao. Lol, not like it's the last time though, hehe.
Went to Jakes for dinner then BV for dessert, yummy! Im gonna miss my Ajabubu:(, lol.

Melbourne soon...
So I originally thought that today was gonna be a boring day but it turned out to be a pretty good one.
Balqis picked me up around 11.30. Then went to D's house to pick up the printer ink. He's like a freaking wholesaler, haha. I know who to go to now, lol. Then off we went to Ikano. Went to Popular 1st to check out the books. No exact editions of the ones that I was looking for. Pet store was next door, so we went to take a look at the flippy hamsters and flip their backs they did. A whole bloody clan of em too, haha. It's like Step Up for Hamsters, haha. Then both of us were hungry so we walked to the Curve. Ate at Bubba Gump. It's a place styled after the movie 'Forrest Gump'...I never watched the movie so I didn't really get the concept but it was still v.cool. You basically flip number plates for service. 'Run Forrest Run'/ 'Stop Forrest Stop', lol. Balqis's treat too, hehe. Tried MPH, no books. Then Borders where I found 2 of the 11 books, so not too bad. Then walked around and shopped for a bit. 3 for 10 earrings and a cardigan from MNG. Got to swipe the credit card, nyehehe. Popular again for stationery. Back to my place. Went for a walk. The end of the day, lol.
Thanks for teman-ing me dear;).

Trials and tribulations of Sunway.
Woke up at 8.30 but as always dilly and dawdled and by the time I picked W.Jie up it was around 11. 30 or so. Got to Pyramid around 12 and Balqis and the gang tak sampai yet, so me and W.Jie did a bit of scouting. Met up with Balqis and went to Wendy's cos of my sugesstion;P. Steve, Y.Hong, P.S. and Elicia came and joined us. W.Jie and I ran a quick errand then off we went to Lagoon. Or so we thought... It started drizzling then raining then drizzling. My bad luck as pointed out but some people, ehem. So they flipped a coing to see what we would do. Decided that rain or shine Lagoon is where we going. Went in and 1st thing we got on was the spinning tea cup ride. OMG, that alone was a headache but fun. Then we went on the Tomohawk, i think, haha, twice, woohoo. The 360 degree bit was the best...and most dizzying. Pirate ship, lol. After that it was time for the water park. 1st it was only me and P.S. on the water slide then Balqis joined in for the water trail. Haha, all of us took a turn under the waterfall and by the time we were done there, all of us were like drowned rats. The award of course going to moi, lol. Next was the wave pool. Floating about in the tube and getting aimed at with water guns by little 'mat saleh' kids. They even waved at me before starting the terrorising, lol. After another half an hour, decided to let Steve and Elicia join in a bit so we went on more rides, hurrah! I took a turn at the carnival game involving a few balls and rusted cans....yeah, didn't even hit one, woohoo! They went on the Tomohawk and I went to give W.Jie his bag. Note:W.Jie went off with his pals after the Tea cup ride, lol. Timing was off and by the time we got outta Subang (with J.co in hand;p), it was jam time lol and the kiddies needed to be picked up. Marah le what else? It was a fun day all in all.Now Im exhausted...in a good way:). Thanks for the awesome time guys;). Haha, the pics that Steve took were so hilarious;P.
P.S. W.Jie, keep your promise nanti ok? Haha.

Pfft...
No plans for today...maybe just getting my books. I got inspired, so enjoy;).
Black bundle of feathers
Black bundle of feathers,
Perched on the corner,
Of the sidewalk.
You caw like the end is near,
Who are you waiting for?
Your comrades have come,
But they've also gone,
No reception,
Shall you find.
The humid air,
It is wet,
Like your corner.
We are all made of feathers,
Underneath our soft skin.

Shopping day...
Haha, Nami, we ate at Cali Pizza Kitchen:).
Then we shopped around at Marks and Spencer, Istean, Topshop. I bought a black vest (finally!) ,for RM25. 50% off, that is worth it man. Aishah made a few purchases too. Took a break at A&W. Then she had to go.
Parents came a bit after to pick me up and to inspect their newly purchased items in KL, lol. Managed to score some M&S shoes. 80 bucks for Italian made wedges, woohoo!
More stuff waiting at home and that included: Earrings, and Vera Wang's Princess Flower perfume, which is really cute.
Big day tomorrow too, lol.

Barbie anyone?
Things kicked off at about 7.15. I actually was making mashed potatoes last minute when Tapir, Suki and Pei Ee came, gah! So punctual, haha. Then like 5 minutes after the ICPU gang (Kat, Balqis, P.S., Yee Hong, Steve) datang, and I was still a mess and pretty much kinda blind, lol, due to lack of specs. Man, it was good to see them though. Woon Jie came too:). Tapir told me the other dudes were coming a bit later. Played the PS3 for a bit, then Elicia came, before we all went to eat. Props to father dearest for fab food and mom too for the lasagna, hehe. Basically we caught up, joked around. Shocker of the night: P.S. and his new hairdo! They really enjoyed the PS3 games, haha. The around 10 or so Dao,W.K., J.J., and Azreel showed up. Nasib baik there was still food left;P. All in all it was an awesome get together. Can't wait for Sunway:D. Now I shall let the pics do the talking.
Tried to upload the pics but couldn't really be bothered cos I was too lazy to do it twice so am now resorting to facebooking it. will put the link up later on.

Dark Night? I think not!
Yesterday I really wanted to watch 'Dark Knight'. Hello, it's batman and the late Heath Ledger? Who wouldn't wanna see that? So managed to convince dad to go with me, heehee. Ran some errands first though in P.J. and Kepong. Then went to Gardens. Dad prefers 'Signature'. Can't complain now can I? Lol. Tried searching for my lit books at Borders. They only had different editions BUT they had ONE book at least. Pitied the guy that had to look for em though. Anyway...on to 'Dark Knight'...
The movie was really good and entertaining. Though I did feel that it was a tad long...2 hours 30 mins, well about there;P. Heath did a great job as the Joker. He was so great that I had to turn away doing those psychologically painful scenes. Maggie G was not bad as Rachel. Dad thought that she wasn't pretty enough, haha (Any comments?). Christian Bale looked buffed as always but this time he was more intense in my book, which is a plus. Gary Oldman as Gordon and Aaron Eckhart...killer performances. I was surprised to see that Eric Roberts was in there. My only complain is the time and the fact that I had to go the loo like 3/4 of the way. Hey, that just means that I gotta watch it again;P.

All for SKT...
Tuesday...
Babysat the bro cos he was admitted for coughing and stuff. Man, it is seriously boring at the hospital...and every one of em smells like...it smells too clean, lol. Nanny, Tok D and Hamster came to see him and I followed Nanny, Hamster and Atok for dinner at Lake Club later on. Best darn ikan bakar and sotong ever!
Wednesday...
Bro got out of the sicky ward and dad decided to take me Laptop hunting. What happened to the old one? Azalea + Water Cooler + Laptop on floor = 2000 in damages...oh yeah, you read right. So a new laptop it was. Scouted around Low Yat for like 2 hours or so. Was inclined towards the Asus but decided on the more powerful Compaq, they had to install stuff so we left it at the shop and decided to come back in the am. Dinner at W.I.P.
Today...
Woke up early thinking that I was gonna get my lit books but dad ajak to go Sentral to sort out my ticket first. So had breakfast there and got my ticket settled. Went to Low Yat...Bam! Lap top wasn't ready cos the dude installed the wrong software. Dad was pissed but we decided to head to Mum's office instead to get some letter and drop by there again later. When we went to Low Yat again, dad made a new discovery...we've been duped! We could have a better deal at a different shop for 200 less. Poor dad felt cheated...his money after all;P. Stopped at home to grab my book list. Picked up Tok D and Kak O for our trip to Sin Kok Thye in where...Klang of course! First time I went there, haha! We ran around in circles for awhile cos the stupid highway and signs got us mixed up but it was pretty much worth it, haha. It's this old school coffee shop where they have awesome Mee Hailam and Nasi Goreng! The people in the shop talk as if they wanna fight too but it adds more to the place if you ask me. Dad said Atok B used to take him to a place like that back in Rembau. What a blast from the past, huh? BUT OMFG! The traffic back on federal was bloody long man. We were stuck there for like 45 minutes cos they were doing some road work. Nasib baik I made it in time for my appointment;P.
BBQ on Sat, yay:)!

3D review and jobless things I do...
Tapir came over on Friday and Wai Kin joined us for our impromptu rock band session a bit after. Check out Ru's blog for pics. Had to kick them out later cos I was booked for 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth' in 3-D! It was not bad actually. It was def better in 3d though I kinda wished that the seats would start vibrating at some points in the film. The 3d glasses were a bit of a pain as well since I had to wear it over my regular specs and it just kept of sliding down. I held the 3D specs up one point cos I got fed up.
Met up with Nis and Myra Sat morning for brekkie and a little catching up session. Went to a kid's b'day party in the evening.
Yesterday went to MVM where shopping was done. BV for dinner. Had guests over a bit earlier on and as always, I entertained the kiddies. Nis's words keep haunting me now...Mother figure...how alluring huh?
Lots to do...not really.
Monday, July 14, 2008 - 3:00 PM
Bring on the couch!
1)Cooking. Basically Pasta Aglio Olio. Didn't come out too bad actually but I probably overdid it on the Chilli front, hehe. Put 3 of em in;P.
2)Picking up the guitar again. Tried the basic 3 chords and stopped after I realised the book was probably not gonna point out my mistakes to me. God, how do people pick it up and get famous?
3)PS3. Not a fighting game or karaoke but fifa street 08. Yeah, me and footy. I lost the first round(predictably enough). Managed to get in 1 goal in the second round. Then my lil brother basically 'potong my stim' when he started yelling at me to push specific buttons.
4)Rode a bike...
Hah, I can't even ride one! Nah, there was something else but I'll just keep it a mystery for now;P.
Met up with Balqis and Sarah yesterday around 4. It was nice just sitting back and catching up. Gossiping about everything we could while shopping in like 4 hours. I had the urge to play pool and Balqis is pretty good man and I think, nay, I freaking hope, that I'm improving, haha. Got my results. Didn't do as badly as I thought but heh...you know the feeling.

Artistic inklings of the 9th degree
I had a dream involving a hospital/hotel like place. I was pretending to be a dead person or something but at the last moment i bolted. I ran out of this room with a friend, whom I now can't remember;P, I was being chased by something I don't know and then me and my pal arrive inside this lift headed somewhere. I see Sarah and this guy. He kinda looks like the guy from '21'. Not the lead guy. Anyway, the guy starts asking the girls if he can email them. He asks my friend who says no. Him: Can I email you?. Me: Urm, Yeah, sure. Him: REALLY? Me: Yeah, why not? We arrive at our floor and I'm wondering how he's going to accomplish that considering he doesn't have my email. After we get off at our floor, I wake up.
Bizzare yeah? Just the tip of the Tasha dream land.

Of multiple piercings and book hunts...
So went back to Kampung today. Usual proceedings mostly.
Then in the evening, dad dropped me and sis off. Hung out with Aru, missed her man! Pree! Tapir...*crickets*... Lol...Kidding!
It was nice hanging out with them and just catching up even if there was a limited amount of time involved;P.
Then met up with Wes and Tapir tagged along for awhile.
Man, I love Melee's album!
Damn, waiting for my results is pure torture....Grrr!

Sicky day...
I miss writing stuff out. It's been awhile since I've put up any poetry so I'll attempt one here.
Working Lady
Wears sneakers with her stockings,
Pencil skirt with 2 inch slits,
Destiny Child playing her song,
Can you guess which one?
Double Mocha Latte in her manicured palm,
She's flipping papers on the subway,
Still got plenty of time to spare,
But clocks can't count your change.
Her hair looks naturally done,
Took her an hour to get it right,
You'd think that she was made of ice,
Till she passes the park.
Little ones playing in water,
Splashing about like newborns,
She smiles for a second,
Then continues towards her destination.
Sits at her desk,
"No hot date tonight?",
"To many things to get done",
She knows that she is hiding.

Censorship and a bunch of stuff...
I've got some thoughts on censorship. You guys know Kate Perry's song right? The one that they're playing on the radio is so choppy. Why? Cos it's suppose to go 'I kissed a girl and I liked it...' but what we get is 'I kissed- and I liked it'. WTH? Why are they censoring that stuff? Do they think that girls are just gonna go around and start experimenting with other girls? That's the stupid thing ever. Even if they do it, it's got nothing to do with the song now does it?
Had a dream involving a baby seal last night and a really hunky brown haired blue eyed stud who I was running away from. He caught me playing with the seal and I was trying to run away. He grabbed my hand and then I bumped into him and we were both speechless for a sec. Then he invited me to live with his family.
Seal
To see a seal in your dream, indicates your playfulness and your ability to use and incorporate differing ideas and thoughts into a situation. Seals are a symbol of good luck, success, and spiritual understanding. It also signifies prosperity, faithful friends, and security in love. The dream symbol may also be a pun and indicate you need to put closure on some situation.
Interesting, I wonder which one it is...I'm gonna lie down right now*woozy*

Busy bee...
Came back from Jakarta on Sunday. It was the usual except that I didn't buy as much stuff as I thought that I would. Kak A's baby is so cute!!!
Went out with Tapir and W.J yesterday. Watched 'The Bank Job' while the rest of the cinema was stoning, lol. A witty flick none the less. Had lunch at Jusco and then tried my hand and pool again. Tapir got injure;P. We just need more practice babe;). Then after dropping W.J off, we played idol on the PS3. Went over to Uncle J's house to see the twins, comel!
Which in turn led me dream about a nameless baby and the really cute brother that was looking after the baby. Me in a dress, guy pulls back curtain and is speechless, damn, I need more of these dreams;P.
Later Taters.
