I had a weird dream last night. I was a Salmon. Maybe a shape shifter. I fell in love with a Shark. Before that I was in the car with my grandma and the kiddies and we were going up this really steep hill resembling a roller coaster ride. It was THAT steep.

What the hell is wrong with me you ask? No idea.

I watched 'Lars and The real girl' with Chongi on Monday. It was a good movie. The art house thing worked in its favour. Stellar cast as well. Didn't think Ryan Gosling had the acting chops. I just hope I never have to resort to ordering a bf off the internet. A good watch overall.

Then we chatted at Papa Gino's while eating. WOMS. I got the explanatory side of it. I would loathe any guy who ditched me to be with their gf. Especially close guy pals.

I really wanna do swing/jive dancing now...must track down a place in Melbourne where i can do that.

I can't stop reading this Manga...'absolute boyfriend'. It's no big deal plot-wise. Girl orders a bf and then her childhood friend says...well, I won't bore you with details. Which leaves me to think if perhaps maybe I'm addicted to the idea of romance. Man, could I be even more pathetic? (Yes, you could). Shut up brain.

I haven't been posting any weird dreams...but it doesn't mean I don't get them anymore. I'm just losing my ability to remember em for some reason. Might be the aussie air.

Let me update you guys on whats been happening...

~Thursday~
It was a regular day. Studies. Then I got a call from Dan. He asked me if I wanted to go watch 'Street Kings'. Of course, I did. The movie's not bad for an action flick but nothing outstanding cept a few good twists which I could already tell;P. Keanu Reeves hasn't aged a bit and I couldn't stop staring at Hugh Laurie's balding head(Yes, Dr.House is balding people, no wonder they always shoot scenes from a frontal view). Derrick and Sarah(new friend) joined in like kinda half way of the movie and the boys cooked at D's place. Haha. No objections sir. It wasn't too bad actually:). By the time I was about to head home it was midnight or so. Dan walked me back...all the way from Docklands, poor guy.

~Friday~
Woke up at like 10 or so. Spent the day cleaning then Dan reminded me of ice skating. Docklands here we come. Met up with Theresa and Vanessa. I forgot how much fun ice skating could be. Plus it was disco ice skating. Poor Dan kept falling down. I didn't...yay! Then movie night at my place...Derrick bailed so it was just Dan and me. We got popcorn and stuff. Ended up not eating popcorn and Dan dozed off like halfway through 'The Hills Have Eyes' Craven's version too, lol. Ended up sleeping late again;P.

~Sat~
Woke up early so me and D could get baking for Jie's pressie. Took him ages and it was freezing! Still, we managed to get stuff and baked. Manually I may add. No mixer used in the process. I felt like the cookie monster, haha. Such a shame that it ended up being burnt. Crispy cookies it is. Clinton came to D's place where we hung out before it was time for me to head back. Clinton was nice enough to teman me back:). We made a quick pit stop at Pancake Parlour... Quite pricey but not too bad. We chatted, me offering my wise advise, haha. Then off he went back to D's place.

And today, I just stayed home, cept the little 30 mins where I went to give Jie his birthday present. How could you not make a big deal about your birthday?! It felt nice though doing something just cos you want to. Even made him a card.

Damn. I need to get something...I don't know what though.

So first of the workshop on my piece that is below. Overall, some very nice responses from everyone. They wanted more Malaysian words and cultural insight and Ross said it has the potential to be a very charming piece. I don't feel stupid anymore for reading it out aloud:).

Technology does have its advantages i think. Just chatted to a guy about my phone bill. They spelt my name very horribly wrong on the bill(his words) and now I've got to fill in a form to have in changed which he emailed to me. Trying to contact some being by phone is miles harder btw, lol.

Got a couple of assignments coming up. Another stupid research essay, well, actually 2 if you count the lit and a peer review one as well. Thank goodness for creative writing.

Still don't have anyone to go with to James Blunt, might just not go:(.

For the first 3 years, anyway.
We’d stroll into class after recess.
Smelling like week old canteen food.

The boys told us the school was built on a grave.
They said that the classrooms were haunted.
Oh, wait, I think it was the toilets.

No, I don’t know if it’s really true.

The canteen.
I hardly came here.
Tried to save my 50 cents most days.
Mama made me bring my own food.
After a few kids complained of tummy aches.

Yeah, probably best to keep away.

Ooh, this is the hall!
I used to perform on that stage.
You know once, we did an S Club 7 routine.
Complete with all the members.
I was supposed to be Jo, the tall and tough girl.
Now I look back and think of how ridiculous I must’ve looked.


Right there on that field…
I got hit in the eye with a softball.
Hahaha, the one time I participated too.
On family day, we had tents and tanks (yes, of the military kind).
Side by side with hot air balloons and pretty ponies.

I used to sit in this class.
And do my work like a good little girl.
Could break that chair now.

What do you mean my butt’s too big?
Cheeky little monster.

Chalk replaced with markers.
Hmmm...Kids replaced with miniature adults.

Its ok you don’t have to understand.

The drains didn’t use to be covered.

Is where I fell, accidentally, of course.
My mouth just slammed against the concrete.
Lost some teeth and bled quite a bit.

Of course it hurt.

Right around this corner is the pond.
During gotong-royong , we had to scoop out the tadpoles.
So we could clean it.
I haven’t touched another tadpole since.

On the 2nd floor, there was a bat.
That crashed into that wall.
Dead plastered there.
I dared myself to touch it.

That sounds like a nice title, doesn't it? For a song or a book...hmmm, maybe my next poem. Don't think anyone notices the lack of poems here anyway, hardeharhar.

So, it's been a hectic couple of days. I don't think I'll ever get this Uni thing pat down right away. It was the same with College. Struggled with my 1st semester, excelled at my 2nd whenever possible. Got back like 2 marks so far. Both crappy not up to standard ones. Submitted one in on Friday. Most probably will be of the same standard. I'll get it right the 2nd time around...I just have to if I want to keep all my body parts intact when I get back to K.L. Pfft!

Anyways, Friday evening went out to dinner with Derrick after pulling a 3 AM-er. I just can't stay awake long enough, sigh. After dinner, went to see the stompers do their thing. Their getting there:). After lounging about, the Bahai people had their usual discussion and stuff. It was interesting in the way that I wouldn't have really thought about. After listening to Jie and Nabil practicing for the concert(Man can they play!), we went to get ice cream. Im telling you I'm gonna come back filled with all sorts of flavours, haha!

Yesterday I went to D's place to help him out. Turns out he didn't need my help. Did a bit of work. Walked around at Crowns after lunch, played air hockey(I won;P), and we were basically fooling around. Then his partner(project) came and so I went off, by myself, to 'The Place' to watch 'Step Up 2' with the usual gang. It was fun. The movie was alright but the acting was questionable.I really wanna go dancing now and omg, when Jie showed me the Jabbawockeez doing their thing I was just gobsmacked. I miss the rush of getting on the dance floor;P. I probably lost 'it' already, lol.

Better work on my creative writing, gah.

Yeah, very sleepy right now. Must work on essay! No, must sleep, must work on essay! Must sleep. What an inner struggle man!

Went out for pizza just now with the guys. I was 1 slice away from finishing a large pizza, but I was too full;P. Thank god Adrian still had space, haha. Y.J took the 2 mins to walk me back cos he was worried some guy might come out and attack me from the sushi shop, lol. A ninja perhaps?lol.

Better get back to work, or something, yawn!

The 'l' word, mates. That's a pretty hefty word. I don't use it often cos it carries a lot of meaning. It takes gut to say those 3 words to someone special. God knows I'd be shocked if someone said them to me...then again, it would have to depend on the person I'll stop.

Anyways, really enjoyed the lecture in lit today. Got me thinking. The way how people say Satan is bad and everything and how during the French Revolution people like William Blake thought of Satan as an artist and rebel. Of course, Im true to my convictions either way:).

Better go work on my essay for management. Take care;).

That's what today was about. Woke up, made brekkie(which I am horrible at), cleaned, read, searched for stuff online, read...you get the picture.

Yesterday, I went for lunch with Sophia at Es Teler. It's alright. Nothing that great though. Then teman-ed her to the rock climbing place. 27 aud for the whole day. That's not bad right? By teman her I mean, walked her there then went back home.

Ice skating with Daniel and his pals got reverted to dinner and pool. That was alright with me. It was fun playing pool in a group. I got a few in at least. Still need a lotta practice though;P. Then back to my place for 'Sleepy Hollow'. Pfft, it was more bloody than scary.

I'm a woman on a mission. I need to find someone who I can go with to the James Blunt concert thats happening here. Yes, you read right. Mr James-freaking-'you're beautiful'-Blunt is gonna be serenading people with his songs. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I have to, have to, have to, SIMPLY have to find a willing partner.

*Resumes to normal person mode*...relatively normal anyway.

So, handed in my assignment on Thursday. Damn, I think I really bombed my 1st lit essay. Then again, thats what I get for handing in dog poop. Curse my conscience. I've got high hope for my creative writing one though. Borrowed 'Pretty Woman' and 'Sleepy Hollow'. Pretty Woman is not as great as I expected it to be. Lots of making out. Figures when its about a prostitute no? I give it 2.5 out of 5. You may be wondering about the next choice cos if you really know me, you know that I am a scaredy cat when it comes to horror flicks. Sigh. Call it a need for adrenaline.

So went for Daniel's birthday thing yesterday. Karaoke. Twice in a month or so, haha. It was alright. I was just blur during the chinese songs. Can someone give me a clue please? His friends are nice enough:). I just felt a bit iffy for some reason. Hey, what do you know, iffy is a legible word, hehe. Yeah. So then we made our way to the Melb U night market. Pfft, more like night carnie. It just doesn't have the same atmosphere. No, Nasi Briyani, Lemang stalls or ice cream potong, lol. Apparently the food wasn't that great either.

Then, Daniel and a bunch of his mates walked me back where I spent the night, watching tv and getting and making phone calls to people. Getting=Mom, dad, dad, dad, dad. Making=Nami.

Today?Not sure really. We shall see.

Working on a couple of poems to submit tomorrow. Due date is actually friday but I can't be bothered to go in on that day. Yeah, I know lazy me;P. I'm kinda confused as to how many times of drafting would be the most appropriate though. I'm usually satisfied after 3 to 4 times.

So many research essays coming up. Management one due next week and H2H one coming up.

I was kinda pissed during the H2H lecture. There were this group of girls sitting beside me yeah? Now guess what they were doing? One was putting nail polish on her nails and another one was filing them. Hello? It's a lecture theater not the bloody nail salon! I just couldn't stand the smell of nail polish and they weren't even playing bloody attention to the lecture. Go home if you want to have your beauty session!

Better get back to work, sigh. I don't know why I'm so sleepy early these days, pffft!

I was having problems with my printer and its finally working again, hooray! I need to get tech savy pals if I want to avoid anymore complications;P. It was a real major pain, uninstalling and reinstalling the stupid thing over, and over, and over again. Thanks papa:).

So on the uni front, got a couple of assignment due soon. Should be working on stuff but can't resist blogging at the mo, nyehehe.

I went shopping on Sunday with Anderson. Didn't buy much. He bought like 2 pairs of designer sunnies. My parents would kill me if I dared to buy anything remotely designer whilst I'm here.

Daniel is having his birthday party this friday. Don't know what to get him as a pressie though.

I reckon the best way for me to catch up with the lingo is to shorten my words...
breakfast = brekkie, chewing gum = chewy, and so forth. Will pick it up slowly i guess.

The pool was alright yesterday, played like 2 rounds with D. I still suck at pool. Then went out to dinner with Adrian,D and Ian(D's friend). Chilli padi, lol. We drew on the table and started bugging the waitress. Hot chocolate from Max Brenner, yummy.

Today was a bit wonky. I went stepping. Like stomp the yard stepping. It was fun. Still thinking about whether to perform or not, might make myself look like an idiot, arggh, no! Lol. Was sorta emotionally exhausted though. Cos I watched 'the notebook' like 5 mins before. Its really a beautiful story.

Tomorrow? I dunno.

Yeah, Im screwed basically. Tried several, several times to submit my H2H essay online, can't bloody do it. I don't appear in the lms database apparently. WTH? Hello, how am I able to access it then? Double damnation. Hope it gets resolved.

Anyways, went out for dinner at red rocks with the guys yesterday. My dad was a bit worried, haha. Literally the guys considering I was the only gal, haha. Gonna go support Jackson in his comp later. Haha, personal cheer squad, lol.

Well, I better get to lit, gonna need to eat first. Lunch, yum.
